No Friction - Official game guide

Introduction - Solutions - Secrets - Trivia

Trivia

Origins
No Friction was a game I tried to make in Klik'n'Play in 2003, but it never got past five levels due to the horrible collision detection. When I started learning Gamemaker, No Friction was an incredibly simple game to do. Three of the levels remain from the Klik'n'Play version as well: 3-1, 3-3 and 3-4.

Oops
Before I wrote all the solutions down, I routinely forget them, and had to solve the levels again. This happened most often with 4-1 and 4-4, despite the few moves required to beat them.

Sounds familiar
The game was originally silent, and the MIDI music was later taken from Hero. A friend also made the title song. This is basically why the music doesn't really fit the game in most of the levels.

Saving
Like Hero, the savefile for the game simply contains a password for the current level, a large number that is hard to guess.
